Adelaide Daracunas was born November 25, 1918, at home in Coal Creek, Washington. She was one of 12 children born to Michael G. and Elizabeth H (Fyda) Daracunas.
She married Henry Joseph Flury, September 20, 1940, in Olympia, Washington. Henry and Adelaide relocated to Roseburg in 1944, and opened Flury Supply Company in 1954.
They had three children, Robert Joseph Flury, Jeffrey Paul (Monica) Flury of Roseburg, and Susan Michelle Gaylor of Kent Washington; and grandchildren, Scott Flury, Sue Martinez, Paul Flury, Matt Flury, Henry Flury, Morgan Flury, Luke Gaylor, Alex Gaylor and Josh Gaylor; plus, great-grandchildren, Jared Flury, Elena Martinez, Jake Flury, Tony Martinez, Isabella Gaylor and Jasmine Gaylor. She was preceded in death by Henry Flury (1999); son, Robert (2007); and grandson, Paul Flury (2018).Graveside services will be held Monday, November 19, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Roseburg Memorial Gardens, Roseburg, Oregon.
