Adeline Ann Sanders

ADELINE ANN SANDERS 86, of Roseburg, Oregon passed away Saturday, January 9, 2010 at her home. Ann was born July 23, 1923 in Seymour, Iowa to Hiram and Herma Evans. She attended and graduated from Seymour High School, Simpson College and the University of Oregon. Ann served her country in the Army Air Force from 1944 to 1946. And then in the Army Reserves for three years. In 1947 she married Don Sanders. They moved to Roseburg in the early 1950's. Ann worked at US Bank for over 20 years. She was the Past Worthy Matron of the Order of Eastern Star and a member of D.A. R. She and Don were long time member of the Roseburg Country Club. Ann enjoyed playing golf, reading and traveling. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Don Sanders of Roseburg, Oregon; brother Bill and Evans and his wife Joan of Portland, Oregon; sister Pat Scarlett of Eugene, Oregon and numerous nieces and nephews. Ann lived her life to the fullest until heart and lung problems slowed her down and eventually to her life. She requested no services. Mercy Hospice has our sincere gratitude.
