Albert Lee Peel

In loving memory of Albert Peel, of Roseburg, Oregon, who passed away on August 29, 2017. Albert was born September 12, 1949, in Perry, Iowa, to Ramona and Ernest Peel. Shortly after his birth, they moved to Oregon, where he graduated from Roseburg High School.

Upon graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy and spent the next four years serving our country. After completing his time in the service, he returned to Roseburg, Oregon, to be near family.

He began his career at Tozer Sheet Metal and quickly developed a strong passion for working with sheet metal. When he wasn't working, he loved spending time outside fixing old cars, camping at Little River, hunting with his family and coaching softball. Albert was known as a strong man with an incredible work ethic who loved his wife, children and grandchildren deeply.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sheryl Peel; sister, Holly Graham; children, Rex Peel, Blaine Peel and Jacob Peel; his stepchildren, Greg Miller and Andrea Miller; and five grandchildren.His ceremony will take place Saturday, September 9, 2017, at Chapel of the Roses in Roseburg at 11 a.m. with a reception to follow.
