Archie Charles Davis

March 23, 1936 — February 1, 2021

Today (2/1/21), after a 3 1/2 year battle with Lung Cancer Archie C Davis passed away. Archie is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Marjorie, his son (Don), his daughter (Gerri), his daughter-in-law (Jennifer), and granddaughter (Sadie). While most of his immediate family proceeded him in death, his brother, Dennis, and sister-in-law, Karin remains an important part of the life he lived.  One of the most important things to him was family. His relationships with nephews and nieces throughout the years have earned him an honorary title of 'Father' to some, but to most, friend.
While Faith is not important to some, Archie held his faith in God a priority of his life. He shared his faith in word and deed. He was a long-time member of Redeemers Fellowship in Roseburg, Oregon where he served as an usher on occasion.
Some of his passions included (besides his wife) travel via motorcycle rides and vacations, the home he and his wife built on 10 acres in the mountains of Oregon, becoming a master carver and painter, he was also an artist whether sketches, watercolor, or the art of erasing pics on a blackened out canvas. Those who visited him have first-hand knowledge of his BBQ techniques and homemade BBQ sauce (secret family recipe) and can still taste the memories to this day.  He enjoyed making his own Salsa and jams (canning both), making jerky and fruit roll-ups, and drying fruit. He really just liked to eat and loved to cook alongside his wife.
He is already missed! We will always love you!
