Audrey Rose Burnam

December 22, 1927 — November 27, 2010

Audrey Rose Burnam a long time resident of Douglas County Oregon went home to be with her Lord Jesus on Nov 27,2010 at Chantele's Loving Touch Memory Care Center in Sutherlin Oregon after a long bout with a debilitating illness. Audrey was born in Sioux City, Iowa on December 22,1927 to Sherman and Naomi Hoisington. She was an active member of Umpqua Community Church of Living Water. She loved going to church and her fellow members. Audrey was very dedicated and close to her family. She was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Aunt. She will be very missed by all of us. Audrey worked as a caregiver for several years. She loved her job and had a big heart for each and every one of her clients she took care of and in turn was loved by them. She knew no stranger as she was very much a people person, always there to listen and help in any way she could. She was known for her smiles and laughter. Her hobbies were fishing and reading. In her earlier years you could often find her at a lake, stream or pond fishing. Audrey is survived by her daughter Frances and her husband Cal Herrboldt, her sister Frances Romero , her brother Albert Hoisington and wife Liz, four grandsons - John Meza and wife Kathy, Michael Meza and wife Jody, Steven Meza, Donnie Meza and wife Yvonne, Niece Nancy Thompson and husband Bob, Nephew Sherman Hoisington, 12 great grandchildren and several great nieces and nephews. There is no funeral service planned and family is having a private memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's disease foundation.
