Long time resident of Yoncalla, Oregon where she was active at the Yoncalla Church of Christ as a Sunday school teacher and later did Bible Studies in her home.
She was active in the community with the Chamber of Commerce and the annual Summer Festival.
She is survived by her son and his wife, Jeff & Carol Smith of Denver, Colorado. Grandsons Joel Smith of Denver and Aaron Smith, his wife Crystal of Salina, Kansas.
Grandchildren Avery and Grady Smith also of Salina, Kansas. Niece Debi Peters of Yoncalla and Nephew Hugh Fisher of Simi Valley, California.
