Barbara J. David

Barbara Juanita David of Glide, Oregon went home to be with her heavenly father Nov 1, 2010 at 4 AM peacefully. Barbara loved her father in heaven and chose a path of faith that gave her the strength to say near her passing, "It is in God's hands." She loved Homer David, her husband of 55 years plus more than any earthly words could express. She gave birth to three children, Carolyn Rice, Melvin, and Steven David of Roseburg Oregon. She has eight (8) Grandchildren and eight (8) Great Grandchildren whom are living in Or, PA, or NJ. Her children will always cherish their memories of her cooking, scrapbooking, croqueting, and embroidering. Barbara was the first daughter born to Claud and Nanna Miller on June 17, 1937 in Missouri. Barbara moved to Oregon when she was 14 years old with her family of 6 brothers, and 3 sisters. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, 4 brothers, and 1 grandson. Barbara will be missed beyond measure but her family and friends rest assured of her shift in life from earth to heaven will be rewarding and comforting for all concerned. Barbara's "Celebration of Life" will take place starting at 11 AM on Nov 4, 2010 at the Church of God of Prophecy located at 4342 NE Douglas Ave Roseburg. Following this Celebration there will be a potluck lunch starting at 1 PM at the Glide Community Center in Glide Or.
