Becky J. Lee was born February 18, 1959 in Nampa, Idaho. Her family moved to California, then on to Oregon where she started her high school adventures in Springfield. Later on, her dad relocated the family to Sutherlin. She got her Certificate of Accomplishment plus Associate of Arts degree in special education at Umpqua Community College. Becky found her niche in traffic control, which she worked at for over 20 years throughout Oregon. She met her second (first being HER son) love of her life and they (John & Becky) were married in June 2004. We all know that complete happiness is what we've had since then.
Becky was an avid blackberry contestant; over the last few years, her pictures of food have made Becky want to expand her cooking abilities. She earned fifteen ribbons. Becky belonged to the International Egg Art Guild; has made her quite aware of the fragile life of all things. Her first egg show resulted in two blues and a red ribbon. She was so glad that our son was there. Becky expressed her love for friends and relatives by sewing and quilting things, thus leaving impressionable memories that lasted a lifetime.
Survivors are her husband, John Lee, son Bryson, in laws Jim and Aurelia (Mom Robin) Lee, brother Brian Salo, sisters Brenda Norris, Barbara Bedard, and best friend Karen (Sam) Ballew. Becky was preceded in death by her grandmother Agnes Harbit, parents Bonnie and Alfred Salo; children Jason and Casey Hanson.
