BETTY LOU BUTCHER 73 passed away at her home in Sutherlin, Oregon on Tuesday, June 19, 2012. She was born March 26, 1939 to Everett and Rachel (Sheldon) Brown in Lowell, Nebraska. Her family moved to Oregon. Betty lived most of her life in the Oakland/Sutherlin area. Survivors include her companion Don Garrison; children Cindy (Jimmy Smalley) Butcher, Nancy (Bill) Krebs, Kevin (Karen) Butcher and Katrina (Clint) Beecroft; grandchildren Kimberly (Scott) Simpson, Jaime Dreier, Billy (Micah) Krebs, Tim (Jennifer) Traynor, Katie Traynor, Chad (Fianc Jaqui Gilman) Beecroft, April Cullins, Chelsea Beecroft, Kyle Cullins and Mallory Butcher; great grandchildren Jacob, Carson, Austin, Josie, Alexis, Davis, Elle, Sadie, Ryden, Eli and William (due in August); siblings James Brown, Pat Probst, Jerry Brown, Ed Brown and Linda Devenport; many nieces, nephews and cousins; her dog Dusty and cat Buddy.She was also a special mom to many. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Frank Butcher and Calvin Breedlove. Betty enjoyed her many trips to Seven Feathers to play her favorite slot machines and usually came home a winner. She also enjoyed crocheting and chatting on the internet. Special thanks to Mercy Hospice and her caregiver Becky. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 2:00 pm in the Neighborhood Church of Christ in Sutherlin, Oregon. Graveside services will follow within the grounds of Roseburg Memorial Gardens. Richard Carter will officiate. A get together for family and friends will follow back at the church.
