Betty Fisher (Sipkins) Fisher

Betty M. Fisher, age 82, passed away on October 9, 2014, at her home in Azalea OR. Betty was born on November 15, 1931 in Venice CA to Johanna and Folkert Sipkens. She moved with her family to Glendale OR in 1945 and graduated from Glendale High School in 1949. She married her high school sweetheart, Robert Fisher, on October 5, 1950. They owned Michel's Feed and Building Supply in Glendale for over 30 years until 1995. Betty was a member of the Cow Creek Historical Society and the Glendale Garden Club. She will be remembered for her love of all things Dutch, her musical talent and her love for entertaining family and friends. She is survived by her husband Robert Fisher, three children: Beverly (Jody) Farley of Corvallis OR, Brad (Bernadette) Fisher of Azalea OR and Barbara (David) Potter of Jefferson OR and her three grandchildren: Tyrel (Brynna) Farley, Derek and Emily Potter. The family will host an Open House on Sunday October 26 at 12:00 pm at 382 Fawn Lane in Azalea.
