BOBBY JOE "TEX" DEATON Bobby Deaton affectionly known as Tex, went home to be with our Lord on Tuesday, September 1, 2010. Tex loved life and he worked at being the best for his family. He was kind to everyone he knew and he lived life to the fullest. Survivors include his wife Carol Deaton; adopted son Chance Reidhead both of Roseburg, Oregon; brothers Harold and Carol both of California and a sister Linda Shipely of Texas; special caregiver and friend Regina. Tex had many friends who cared for him. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Wilson's Chapel of the Roses. Pastor John Preston will officiate. A celebration of his life and potluck style BBQ will follow at Bobby's home.
