Bobby Dean Fender

Bobby Dean Fender, 77 of Roseburg, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2014. He was born January 4, 1937 in Alva, Oklahoma to Roy and Mary (Percival) Fender. Bobby grew up in Alva graduating from Alva High School. He moved to Roseburg in 1958 living in the area for 56 years. Bobby attended UCC and studied Forestry. His career was as the Environmental Operations Manager for Douglas County. Bobby enjoyed fishing and camping at Diamond Lake. He is preceded in death by is wife of 54 years Patricia L. Fender. Survivors include his 2 daughters and sons in law, Marsha and Andrew Austin and Brenda and Kevin Jones, along with one son, Keith Fender. He is also survived by his grandchildren Zack Jones, Isaac Jones, Gracie Jones and Willie Austin.
A Graveside service will be held on Friday, February 7, 2014 at 2 pm at Roseburg Memorial Gardens.
