Brian Noel Galindo, age 27 of Roseburg, Oregon passed away peacefully at home in his sleep on July 2, 2011. Brian was born in December 1983, the youngest of five children to Richard and Wendy Galindo. Brian said of his own childhood that it was awesome. Brian was a lover of life and people and in return was well beloved. He loved his family, friends and buddies, and the family pets. Brian enjoyed music and playing the guitar, and led an active life skateboarding, snowboarding, swimming, and sailing. He enjoyed body building, and challenges that involved any kind of hard work. Brian fulfilled his lifetime goals with the help of many friends and family of graduating from high school and college through Umpqua Community College, owning a car and motorcycle, and joining the military. Brian signed up for the U.S. Marine Corps during the time of conflict known as Desert Storm. Brian is survived by his parents Richard and Wendy Galindo of Roseburg, Oregon; siblings, Stephen Galindo of Klamath Falls, Oregon, Mandy Ruddy, Jaime Galindo Simmons, and Philip Galindo of Roseburg, Oregon; nephews and nieces, Colby Simmons, Hayley Ruddy, Justen Ruddy, and Emily Ruddy of Roseburg, Oregon, and the family pet, Snorkie. Services will be held on July 11 at Wilson's Chapel of the Roses, 965 W. Harvard, Roseburg at 3pm with visitation starting at noon.
