BRUCE TALFORD REDDICK 80, of Port Ludlow, Washington passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2014 in Port Townsend, Washington. He was born February 2, 1934 in Heber Springs, Arkansas to Talford and Maurine (Love) Reddick. Mr. Reddick served in the US Navy during the Korea Conflict. He lived in Los Angeles, California from 1940 until 1970, lived in Roseburg, Oregon from 1970 thru 1998, Kona, Hawaii from 1998 to 2002 and moved to Port Ludlow, Washington in 2002. Bruce owned and operated Reddick Hydraulic Cylinder Co., Inc from 1970 until 1996. He was a pilot of small aircraft and achieved instrument ratings. Bruce had a 38 foot Bayliner and traveled around the waters of Western Washington including the San Juan Islands and Port Ludlow. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing in the hills and rivers of Oregon. Survivors include his wife of 59 years Teresa Reddick; daughter Lisa Reddick and her husband Robert Atkins; sister Madelyn Purcell; step-brother Joe Purcell; nieces Alison Biehl, Renea Brown, Tina Philbrook and Linda Tunison, nephews Peter Biehl and Bruce Waelbrock; granddaughter Emma Lynch; sister-in-law Mary Louise Waelbrock and her husband Raymond. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Robin Reddick in 1975 and brother-in-law Eric Biehl. Those who wish may pay their respects on Friday, May 30, 2014 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Wilson's Chapel of the Roses. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Wilson's Chapel of the Roses with graveside services to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Rev. John Stenbeck will officiate.
