Mr. Bryant Keith MacDonald. Age 55. Known as Bud or Buddy. Lived in Oregon roughly 45 years mostly in the Josephine and Douglas counties.
Bud passed away on Tuesday January 9th 2018 from cancer.
He was born on September 11, 1962 in Orange County, California to Mary and Carl MacDonald.
Buddy completed his G.E.D. and graduated from the Toyota T-Ten program at U.C.C.
He worked really hard to get his G.E.D. through the Jobs Program which also helped him get a grant for the Toyota Tech Training Program. While at U.C.C. he was involved with the VICA Club.
Buddy also coached little league soccer for a couple of years and helped with baseball as well.
Bud wore various hats like Grocery Clerk, Green Chain Puller, Mechanic, His personal favorite the white cooking hat, Miner Grunt, and last was in plywood as a plugger.
He was very mechanically inclined, and was gifted at taking things apart and putting them back together, fixed of course.
Besides hanging out with his children and grandchildren who knew him as Papa Bud, he enjoyed cooking, hunting, fishing, camping, and riding his 4-wheeler.
Roughly about 1998 Bud started going to the Riddle Open Bible Christian Center where he accepted Christ as his Savior and was baptized.
Bryant leaves behind his wife Elane of 36 years.
Daughter Alissa Peters of Myrtlecreek, and her husband Patrick.
Son Joshua MacDonald of Montana, and his wife Jessica.
Son Jonathan MacDonald of Canyonville, and his wife Caressa.
His sister Thelma Henry of Glendale, and her husband Bruce.
Mother-in-law Druer Perry of Myrtlecreek
Father-in-law Jerry Petty of Riddle.
His grandchildren Gabe Westfall, Bo MacDonald, Cyaira Maddux, Lily MacDonald, Rayen MacDonald, Seanna Maddux, and Kamdyn MacDonald.
His Nephews, Shane Henry, Billy Holder, Zachary Cobb, and Nathan MacDonald.
Bud is preceded in death by his Mother Mary, his Father’s Carl, Richard, and Jerry. His Sister’s Tammy and Teri and granddaughter Lukaya
Buddy leaves behind many Beloved Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends were family and you know who you are! He left behind a legacy of love, laughter, music, food, and the special something he shared with everyone……. Himself.
Bryant’s Celebration of life will be held at the Riddle Open Bible Christian Center. Pastor Don Causey will be the Officiant. Saturday January 20th at 3:00 P.M. Followed by a potluck dinner.
