Carol Kellcy, age 75, of Myrtle Creek, Oregon, passed away Monday, October 29, 2018, at her home. She was born May 21, 1943, in Astoria, Oregon, to Cecil Naas and Florence Peterson Heiser.
Carol had been a resident of Roseburg, Oregon, for over 30 years prior to moving to Myrtle Creek a year and a half ago. She graduated from Roseburg High School in 1961. Carol worked as a bookkeeper for many years until she retired in the 1980s to take care of her husband.
She loved her cats, gardening and watching her grandchildren play sports.
Carol was a member of Vine Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters Kelly Barron (Harold) and Kris Lewis (Mike); sister, Cathy Bain (Bill); brother, Rick Dicob; grandchildren, Krista Chambers (Roland), Dustin Lewis (Melissa), Ryan Barron (Marisa), and Blake Barron; great-grandchildren, Riley and Kamren Chambers, Layton and Emma Lewis; friends, Sharon and Ron Forcum and Diane Stoffel Daugenbaugh. Carol was preceded in death by both of her parents; husband of 17 years, Walt Kellcy in 2002; step-father, Don Dicob; and step-mother, Madeline Naas.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. within the grounds of Roseburg Memorial Gardens. Pastor Rick Hahn of Vine Street Baptist Church will officiate.
