Charles "Chuck" Henry Verdugo, Jr. Age 71, of Roseburg, Oregon, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2012. Chuck was born to Charles Sr. and Tillie Verdugo on August 11, 1940 in San Bernardino, California. He served in the National Guard and attended Barber College and received his certificate in 1960. Chuck was the owner of Chuck's Barber Shop in Sutherlin, Oregon and was a member of the Eagles Lodge 3508. Chuck loved life. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, dancing, playing with his dogs and cats, and spending time with family and friends. Chuck was preceded in death by his second wife of 15 years, Darleen, and his brother, Dennis. He is survived by his first wife of 22 years, Jerry Marie Reed; children, Sally (Brian) Rosencutter; Janet (Anthony) Munoz; and Carlo (Margaret) Verdugo; sister, Peggy (Bill) Tanner; grandchildren, Kevin and Alexander Rosencutter, Benjamin and Savanna Munoz, and Alexis and Isabella Verdugo; niece, Denise (Mike) Nunnally and children Annabelle and Malachi; many, many friends and special neighbors, Clay and Vicky Needham, and Carol Wilson, special lady friends, Nancy Coplin and Sherry Nick, and special friend and ex mother-in-law, Beth Whetstone. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at noon at Eagles Lodge 116, E. 2nd Ave., Sutherlin, OR. A burial will take place at a later date at New Auburn Cemetery in Auburn, CA.
