CHARLES BRYAN WEBSTER 58, of Roseburg, Oregon passed peacefully on December 18, 2010 after a 16 year battle with Multiple Sclerosis. He was born October 6, 1952 in San Francisco, California to Burt and Aileen Webster. Charlie attended grade school in California and later went on to Mt. Diablo College to get a degree in dental technology. He worked in Hawaii and the San Francisco Bay area doing "crown and bridge" until he was diagnosed with MS in 1993. Charlie then moved to his property at Pahoa, Hawaii to build his dream house. Unfortunately the heat was a debilitating factor with his disease, so he moved to Oregon to be with his sisters. During his life he was always busy and extremely adventurous! Charlie liked hunting wild boar, calling in turkeys, making beer with friends, scuba diving into caves with sharks and even crawling into volcanic tubes. He also enjoyed gardening, creating Bonsai plants, making beautiful silver jewelry, doing ceramics and oil painting. Charlie enjoyed playing pool and became accomplished enough to play semi pro in a Las Vegas tournament. He also loved to play his electric and acoustic guitars until he was unable. Charlie also was an avid fisherman when he was able. . He was an animal lover and made a home for several stray cats in his lifetime and saved more than one hurt bird. Stewart Park Duck Pond was one of his favorite places to visit. Survivors include his sisters BJ and Barb both of Roseburg; three nieces, step dad Larry as well as several cousins. Charlie will be missed by friends and family from California to Hawaii. They will miss his great sense of humor and his willingness to help those that needed it. Pizza sales will be down in Roseburg without him ordering his favorite fare!. Charles was preceded in death by both his maternal and paternal grandparents and parents. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Charlie's memory can be made to OHSU MS fund. No services are planned at this time.
