Chase Thomas King

Chase blessed our lives on July 24, 1999 and was granted his angel wings on February 9,2011. His life would seem too short to many, but for those who were touched by him, understood that the quality of existence far exceeds quantity of time in which you live it. His gentle smile could melt the hearts of those around him, and though he never spoke a word, his voice and thoughts could always be heard. With Chase's passing we remind others that his life is to be celebrated, and although we will miss him every day, especially his beautiful smile, he will always remain forever in our hearts. Chase leaves behind many wonderful friends, teachers, aides, and doctors, who provided love and dignity in his life and also in his death. Chase is survived by his loving parents, Jeff and Leslie, brothers Austin and Reed, grandparents Don and Pat Knight, and Ernie and Joyce King, Uncle Dave and Auntie Connie Knight, Uncle Daniel and Auntie Patti Knight and Aunt Diana King and many cousins. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Chase King Memorial Fund at Oregon Pacific Bank. The celebration of his life will be February 19,2011, at 3:00 p.m. at Redeemers, 3031 W. Harvard., Roseburg. In honor of Chase's big blue eyes, we welcome you to join us and encourage casual blue attire.
