Cindy Lee (Henry) Grose, of Oakland, OR, passed away July 29, 2018, at the age of 59.
Cindy was born December 4, 1958, in Stayton, Oregon, to Robert and May Henry. She was the last of eight children. Cindy grew up in Glide, until the spring of 1978, where she met the love of her life, Robert Grose, after a two-year courtship they married in Redlands, California, on October 18, 1980.
Together they had many beautiful travels and adventures, but ultimately they settled down in their home, in the Oakland area, spring of 2005. They were married 37 years and had three wonderful children, James, April, and Crystal.
Cindy was a beloved wife, mother, Grammy, soon to be great-Grammy. Many will miss her contagious smile and laughter. She faced adversity with a positive attitude, and that tomorrow was, “It’s just another adventure!” Through her, we learned unconditional love and determination.
Cindy is survived by her husband, Robert Grose; their children, James Stamy (Terra), April Gray (Tim), Crystal Lane; grandchildren, Erik (Kylie), Seth, Brittani, Paige, Zane, Emilee, Madison, and Mackenzie; three brothers; three sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cindy was preceded in death by her brother, John Henry; and parents, Robert and May Henry.
A potluck Celebration of Life is planned at Sutherlin Community Building, 150 Willamette St., Sutherlin, Oregon 97462, on August 11, 2018, at 12 p.m. This will be a wonderful time to share and reflect with those who loved her.
