Clara Esther Poust

Esther Poust was born March 24, 1919 in Talbot, Alberta, Canada and went to be with Jesus September 24, 2018 peacefully at home with her son Barry.
Preceded in death by husband of 51 years, four sisters and one brother. She is survived by sister Phyllis; 4 sons: Shell, Barry, John, and Tom; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Raised around Vancouver, WA area, with 5 sisters and 1 brother. Married in San Francisco, CA, lived and worked around Northern California, raising four boys. And moved with her son Barry to Roseburg, OR in 2015.
Esther worked as a secretary and real estate agent, but mainly as home maker. Hobbies include sewing, painting, and volunteer work including senior organizations and church activities. Was a 4-H sewing club leader. Made many oil paintings portraits and landscapes. She had a very sociable and outgoing personality. Good at starting conversations with anyone, including neighbors and young and old alike.
Had and still has strong love for Jesus. Lord healed her blood disease when she was a child. Also healed broken bones later in life and has now healed forever. One of her favorite Bible verses is Psalm 23 Verse 6: Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever
A Celebration of life service to be held, Saturday Oct 13, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Redeemers Fellowship, 3031 W Harvard Ave, Roseburg, OR, 97471
