Age 50, of Medford, Oregon, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2015, after a courageous fight against cancer. Connie was born on May 19, 1964, to John and Joellen Barber in San Fernando, California. Prior to making her home for the last 16 years in Medford, she lived in Roseburg, OR, Coos Bay, OR, and Central Oregon. She graduated from Roseburg High School in 1982, and Western School of Commercial Lending in 2008. She continued to work in the banking industry her entire career. She enjoyed crafting, jewelry making, camping, watching her boys play sports, spending time with friends, and was an avid United Way member and team mom.
Connie is survived by her husband Daren Doolittle; her sons Austin Jordan "AJ" Doolittle and Braden Avery Doolittle; mother Joellen Barber; sister DeAnn Leigh Barber Dalgliesh; brother Wes Lee Barber (Carrie); and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; also friends Dave DuBois and McKensey Peters. Connie was preceded in death by her father John Barber; grandparents Dee and Walt Barber, and Conrad and Jessie Massier; and brother Kyle Lee Barber.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2015, at Touvelle State Park in Central Point, Oregon, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 pm. Please bring a helium balloon to release in Connie's honor. A graveside service will be held at Roseburg Memorial Gardens at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2015.
