Curtis L. Handy

Curt passed away on March 13, 2018 at the age of 75. He was born in Roseburg, OR July 24, 1942 to George Enos Handy and Marjorie Ardella (Coon) Handy. He attended Melrose Grade School, Garden Valley, and Roseburg High School. He also attended his 11th and 12th grades at Reedsport High School. He joined the Air Force from 1962-1966 and was an air traffic controller. Curt never married but did have an older brother, E. Daro Handy from Sutherlin, OR. Curt enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking and yard work but his real passions were photography and rock hounding. He has many friends and will be missed by all. Funeral arrangements were made through the Sutherlin Chapel of the Roses. There will be a graveside memorial service at the Melrose Cemetery on March 24, at 2 p.m.
