Cynthia Louise Rankin

March 19, 1966 — November 16, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cynthia Louise Rankin, a loving mother and grandmother, a remarkable woman, and a dedicated friend. Cynthia’s unexpected crossing came on November 16, 2023, at the age of 57 years old in Roseburg, Oregon. Cynthia was born in Lakewood California and grew up in Sutherlin, Oregon with her father & mother, Wayne and Sandra Calder, as well her two sisters, Debbie and Shannon Calder. She survived her husband, Timothy Lee Ikola on May 29, 2019, and mother-in-law Bernice “Bunny” Johnson on November 1,2021.

Cynthia’s nurturing spirit, unwavering support, and boundless love will forever live on in the hearts of her children, Britany Rankin in Eugene, Dylan and wife Audrey and grandsons Walter and Noah Rankins in Roseburg, and Elizabeth Rankin in Roseburg. As well as her father and stepmother Wayne and Jennifer Calder in Oakland, Mother Sandra Morse and her two sisters, Debbie Hudson and Shannon Calder from California.

If you were a friend, you got to call her Cyndee. All who knew her knows she had a flamboyant style, loved bargains, hunting for treasures, and crafting projects. Cyndee was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Cyndee’s generous heart, kindness and compassion touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Cyndee’s memory will be forever cherished by her family, friends, colleagues, and clients. Her legacy as a mother, waitress, life care professional, and friend will endure, and her spirit will continue to inspire us all. In our hearts, Cyndee lives on, and we will forever honor the legacy of a remarkable woman who made a lasting impact on all those lives she touched.

We request the presence of all who loved Cyndee. Please join us in celebrating her beautiful life at 1100 am on 25th of November 2023, at The Fathers House Church, 378 East 2nd Avenue, Sutherlin, Oregon 97479.
