Darwin Dale Owens

Darwin Dale Owens age 53 of Riddle passed away at his home on Sunday February 21, after an extended illness. He was born June 27, 1956 to Claud and Freda Owens in Canyonvill, Oregon. Darwin was raised in the area and attended Riddle High School graduating in 1974. Darwin was very active in his the Assembly of God Church and enjoyed all local sporting events. His faith in god was exceptional although his body has left us we know his kind and loving spirit rests with our Lord Jesus Christ, along side his mother and father. Children and elderly people were always drawn to his gentle and kind nature. He loved flowers of all kinds and was an avid animal lover. His dog Rocky was at the top of the list. Darwin is survived by his brother Larry Owens and his wife Carole, sister, Gaila Northman and husband Bob, brother Gary Owens, Sister, Mavis Maier and her husband Denny, sister, Donna Cueva and her husband David. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A funeral service will be Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 2 PM at the Assembly of God Church, 718 Lookingglass Rd.
