David Eugene "Dave" Marble

David Eugene Marble," Dave" 71, of Drain, Oregon passed away on May 4, 2017 at his home after an extended illness. Dave was born in Beatrice Nebraska to Victor F. and Vera M. Reed Marble on May 3, 1946. After High School Dave joined the Marine Reserves and worked as a tree trimmer and a Millwright for 20 years retiring in 2009 from Roseburg Forest Products. He enjoyed fishing, liked to take his boat out and spending time with his grandchildren and barbecuing with the family. Dave also enjoyed Boise State University sports and was an avid Seahawks fan.
He is survived by his wife Correne of 50 plus years, daughters Angela (Wesley) Worley, Kimberly (Richard) Bellew and a son, David D Marble. In addition he is also survived by his sisters Gail Augdon of Springfield, OR, Kathy (Rick) King of Boise Idaho and brothers, Victor (Donna) Marble , and Dennis (Janet) Marble of all of Payette Idaho. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Kristi and Will Schuh, Timothy Worley, Michelle, David A, Ethan, Annabella, Abbygail Bellew, 5 great grand children, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Dave is also survived by his long time friends, Dennis and Sherry Atherton and many other. He is preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters; Ann L Lyons and Carolyn K Larson.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday May 15, 2017 at 2PM at Sutherlin Chapel of the Roses. Visitation will be Monday May 15, 2017 from 9 AM until service time at the Chapel with a reception to follow. Please visit Dave's web site at www.wilsonschapeloftherosesfh.com
