David Gerald Loughead

David G. Loughead age 72, of Umpqua, Oregon, was born on June 26, 1939 to parents Darrell and Evelyn Loughead. He went home to be with the Lord on April 20, 2012.
He retired from PG&E after 39 years of service. He loved the old cars and the outdoors. He was passionate for God.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon of Umpqua; children: Shirley Murphy of Lockford, CA, Alice Svenpladsen of Woodland, CA, Davie Crawford of Drain, Patrick Loughead of Drain, William Loughead of Stockton, CA, Adele Megli of Alaska, Brenda Graham of Myrtle Creek; 17 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and his sister, Donna Cordes of Wyoming.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Donald Loughead of Yucca Valley, CA.
Memorial service is Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 11 a.m. at New Hope Fellowship, 764 E Central, Sutherlin, OR, with Pastor David Bates officiating. Graveside service to follow.
