Deborah L. Miller "Debi"
Passed away May 21, 2014 due to complications of cancer. Debi was born July 19, 1950 to Frank L. Fox Jr. and H. Myreta Fox in Artesia, California. She grew up in Orange County, California, also living in Carmel, California and Hawaii. She graduated from Roseburg High School in 1968. She moved back to Oregon in 1977. Debi worked at Payless and Rite Aid for many years. She also worked at Bi Mart and was still employed at Walmart at the time of her passing. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, reading, and traveling. She was a huge football fan. She was such a wonderful aunt to her nephews and nieces, as well as great nephews and nieces.
Debi is survived by her mother H. Myreta "Dude" Brown; sisters Nancy Collins of Palm Springs, California, Cheri Bicking of New Holland, Pennsylvania, and Jodi Stringer and husband Paul of Roseburg, Oregon; brothers, Brian Fox of Bisbee, Arizona and David Brown and wife Dona Brown of Roseburg, OR.; best friends since high school, Diana Varner and Rebecca Reed.
Debi was preceded in death by her father Frank L. Fox, Jr.; and nephew PFC Avery T. Stringer.
We would like to thank all the physicians and nurses who cared for Debi with compassion and thank the friends that covered her in prayer, hospice volunteers and special friends Diana Varner and Julee' and Eddie Beamer for helping to care for our sister.
