Dennis Wayne Freeman

Dennis Wayne Freeman, 62, of Roseburg, Oregon, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 23rd, 2009. Dennis was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother. He was born on March 11th, 1947, in Eugene, Oregon to Don and Clara Freeman. Denise is preceded in death by his parents in 2002, a daughter, Leah in 2000, and a brother Gary in 1980. He is survived by his wife Denise, they were married in 1992, 8 wonderful children Paula Kaveny, Suzi Steckel, Leah Freeman, Denise Bertrand, Melinda Barrera, Chris Gannon,Wesley Gannon, and Alecea Freeman. Dennis is also survived by his two sisters Dona Shields of Eugene, and Patti Peake of Monroe. Dennis also leaves behind 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins. Dennis was well known for owning and operating Denny's Pizza Parlor in Coquille, Oregon for nearly 25 years. They moved to Roseburg in 2001. Dennis loved the outdoors, hunting, and working on his land. Dennis loved his family and looked forward to family reunions. Dennis will be missed by many who loved him dearly. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 323 N. Comstock, Sutherlin, Oregon on Friday, November 6th, 2009, at 10:00am. Arrangements by Wilson's Chapel of the Roses, 965 W.
