Dion "Dick" Fotenos

MR. DION "DICK" FOTENOS, 77 of Canyonville, Oregon passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at his home. He was born June 6, 1937 in San Francisco, California to George and Elaine Fotenos. Dick has lived in Canyonville for 41 years. He was a retired small business owner. Dick enjoyed traveling, sailing, piloting, flying, and watching airplanes. He remained close with many of his St. Ignatius "brothers" and looked forward to their get togethers. Survivors include his son Mike Fotenos and his wife Desirae; daughter Stephanie Schmitt and her husband Nathan; brother Steve Fotenos and his wife Lizet; sister Georgia and her husband Rick Pimentel; grandchildren Alex, Nicholas and Daylan Fotenos, Daniel, Jonathan, Caleb and Mark Schmitt. Dick was preceded in death by his parents George and Elaine Fotenos and his wife of 39 years Karen Fotenos in 2000. At his request, no services will be held.
