Donald Richard "Don" Brown

June 2, 1933 — December 18, 2016

June 2nd, 1933 - December 18th, 2016
Don left us on Sunday, December 18th, 2016, and is survived by his three sons, William, Thomas and David, and Grandchildren, Alex, Connor and Natalie.
An avid traveler, Don spent time working in various locales overseas and was able to see so much of the world, which he loved. An Army veteran, Don had a rich and eventful life that saw him doing everything from logging, working on the railroad, to plying his trade as an Electrical Engineer from Spokane to Oman.
Don loved horses and rode as a youth and later on his property in Las Cruces. He loved to have fun and provided great stories and memories for those that were fortunate to have been part of his life. He had a big personality which was equaled by his great sense of humor. He made an impact wherever he went and is survived by friends all over the world. He loved to tell stories of his travels and exploits which always left us envious of the life he lived.
We will miss him greatly and will struggle to fill the void he has left. We know however he is in a better place where he can continue to tell his stories and be reunited with his wife, Torchy.
Take care, love and Godspeed Dad.
