Donald A "Don" Hartford

Donald A Hartford, 89, of North Bend formally of Roseburg passed away on Monday June 12, 2017 in Coos Bay after an extended illness. Don married Virginia Radley on October 7, 1950 in Portland Oregon. He joined the Army and serviced supporting the Koran War. Don had a Masters degree in Social Services and worked for the VA form many years. He had a love of fishing. Don and his wife were commercial fishers until her illness took them to becoming snow birds for many years. After Virginia's death, Don and his daughter Teressa fished as much as they could.
Don is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Virginia in 1990 and a son, Devin, in 2016. He is survived by his daughter, Teressa Hartford of Coos Bay and a son, Dan Hartford of Roseburg. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on June 24, 2017 at 2 pm at the Coles Valley Cemetery.
