Donald F. Maddux,
Age 84, passed away in Roseburg, Oregon on November 10, 2011. Donald was born on January 10, 1927 in Ouray, Colorado to Laurence and Leona Maddux.
Donald was proud to serve his country in the Navy during WWII from 1944 to 1946. Donald and his wife Pauline moved to Myrtle Creek, Oregon in 1956 where they owned and operated Maddux Logging. He was a member of the VFW, he enjoyed wood working and was an avid golf player.
Donald is survived by his wife of 62 years, Pauline, daughter, Lorraine (Gale) Gross, Son, Larry (Pat) Maddux, sisters, Betty Graf and Bonnie (Lyle) Tidwell, brother, Frank (Glenda) Maddux, sisters in law, Lena Maddux and Aletha (William) Southwell, grandchildren, Jason Maddux, Marshall Maddux, Amanda Murry, and Tyler Gross, 10 great grandchildren, 10 step great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Laurence and Leona and his brothers, Walter and Ralph.
No services are scheduled, a private family interment will take place at Roseburg National Cemetery.
