My wonderful husband, Donnie Snyder, was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, in a military hospital. January 3, 1957. He is the only son of Donald Harry Snyder and Janice Cheney Welch, both reside in Minnesota.

Donnie, was a quite, adventurous person and never sat still, rather enjoyed finding something productive to do. From fishing, hunting, camping, his love of nature and the outdoors was always a big part of his life.

During his time in Wyoming, he served on the Board of Directors, for United Way. Was an avid trap shooter, and volunteer EMT. Safety and compassion for others was an important element in his life and work.

He worked for Pacificorp, at the Bridger Power plant in Wyoming for 26 years as a Control Operator then, transferred to Pacificorp, Toketee Hydro, for another 11 years. During that time he volunteered to start the first Chapter of the Patriot Guard Riders, a military support group that honors fallen heroes and Veterans. He became Oregon's first State Captain, Pacific Regional Captain, National Captain and Vice President of PGR Inc. and served on the National Board of Directors for PGR. patriotguard.org
