Doris Curry (Bottom) Curry

Doris I Curry, 74, of Roseburg, Oregon passed away on Thursday October 27, 2016. She was born on January 24, 1942 in Bay City, Oregon to Kenneth and Edna (Clark) Bottom. She graduated from North Eugene High School in 1960. Doris was employed by the Douglas County Public Works Department retiring in 2000. She was a life member of the Douglas County Genealogical Society and served 15 years as the Librarian for the Society. Doris was a member of the Green Community Church and a past member of the Cub Scouts and Boy Scout Committees. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Ronald (Ron) Curry Sr.; two daughters, Honor Harvel and Adrienne Chaplin, a son; Ronald Curry Jr. She is also survived by a sister; Alice Bottom and brothers; Fred, Bob, and David Bottom along with grandchildren Jeremy Chaplin, Brent Chaplin, Theresa Curry, Ronald (Brody) Curry III and Ronald Harvel, nieces and nephews; Brad Bottom, Jennie Archelea, Brandy Bottom, Joe Standley, Curt Standley Dawn, Standley and the Monday Crew at the Genealogical Society and all her Scrapbooking Friends at Kristas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Edna Bottom; grandparents; Ozios Bottom and Iva Street Bottom, great grandparents; Thomas Bottom and Sarah Light and a nephew Brent Bottom.
A Memorial service will be Saturday, November 5, 2016 at the Green Community Church at 11 am. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Douglas County Genealogical Society or any local Veterans Group.
