Doris Fay Goin

DORIS F. (COLLIER) GOIN 82, of Roseburg, Oregon passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2012. She was born on November 11, 1929 in Earth, Texas to Clarence E. and Jewell B. (Nelson) Collier. Her childhood was spent in Tulare, California thru the eleventh grade. Doris was a graduate of Roseburg High School, class of "47". Her first marriage of 20 years produced three sons Alvin, Alex and William Flory. Doris was a 40 year member of the Women of the Moose, a Star Recorder and quite active in Lodge Chapter 361 until health issues forced her to quit. On October 16, 1971 she married Aaron D. Goin. They are both members of VFW Post 3970 in Sutherlin, Oregon. Doris was preceded in death by her parents and sons Alvin and William. Memorial services will be held Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 10:30 am at the Creekside Family Church (Formally Newton Creek Church of Christ) 731 Newton Creek Road, Roseburg. Darrick Purl will officiate.
