Age 79, of Roseburg, Oregon, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2015, of cancer. She was born June 18, 1935, in Long Lake, Wisconsin, to Clarence Joe and Winifred M (Eagen) Kempke. Dorothy was employed at Rose Haven Nursing Home for 10 years, and a in-home caregiver for seven years, and was a state certified adult foster home provider for 30 years. She loved to hunt, fish, garden, travel and take rides in the mountains. She especially enjoyed time with her family, children, grandchildren and friends. Her children and grandchildren were her life. Dorothy was married to JD Dunning for 53 years, until his death in 2008. Dorothy is also preceded in death by two son and two brothers. Dorothy is survived by a dear companion of 3 years Mr. James Fry; her daughter Cheryl (Mel Fawver); two sons, Kenny (Nancy), and Butch (Penny) Dunning; also survived by two sisters; two brothers; 20 grandchildren; and 44 great-grandchildren; with one great-great-grandchild on the way; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
