Dorothy May Elizabeth Calvert

April 5, 1915 — September 27, 2016

Mrs. Dorothy M. Calvert, of Roseburg, passed away Sept. 27, 2016. She was born to Francis and Stella Piper on April 5, 1915 in Scappoose, Oregon. She met and married her husband Earl Calvert. They were married for 56 years before Earl passed away in 1990. Dorothy was a beloved wife, mother and homemaker. She and her husband, Earl owned and operated the Sterling Mobile Park for 46 years. Together they enjoyed the Old Time Fiddler's Association and loved dancing. Dorothy is survived by her sons Roy (Shirley) Clavert of Renton, WA, John (Mildred) Calvert of Brookings, OR, and Jess (Sue) Calvert of Roseburg, OR; her daughter Susan Scott of Rapid City, SD; Her brother Clarence Piper of Tenino, WA; 14 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 18 great great grandchildren. The family would like to thank Lisa Black family and staff, Michelle Gautney and Vicki Jordan for their care and support for Dorothy.
