Dorothy Cameron (Russell) Cameron

DOROTHY MAE "DOTTIE" CAMERON 92, of Sutherlin, Oregon passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017. She was born February 11, 1925 in San Pedro, California to Ernest Stewart and Frances (Banks) Russell. Dottie retired in 1985 after 30 years as a retail clerk with Safeway. She was a member of the Garden Club, she loved flowers of all species. Dottie's most favorite hobby in the world was shopping, ultimately earning her the title of "Master Shopper". She was a member and attended the Sutherlin Lutheran Church. Survivors include her daughters Kay Linder of Sutherlin, Oregon and Janis Harmon and her husband Dennis of South Carolina; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Dottie was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Louis E. Cameron and her son Warren D. Thompson. A Celebration of Life for Dottie will be held Friday, May 26, 2017 at Noon at Kay Linder's home at 514 St. Andrews Court in Sutherlin. Dorothy will be placed into final rest with her husband within the grounds of Roseburg National Cemetery.
