Dwight Luce "Bud" Tinker

Dwight Luce Tinker "Bud", 95,of Roseburg passed away on November 15, 2015 at his home. He had lived in Roseburg for the past 15 years moving from Glide. Bud was born on August 25, 1920 in Cold Water Kansas to Hiram and Anna Belle Tinker. He graduated from Alvo High School in Alvo, Nebraska. Bud enlisted in the Army Air Corp and attended the Ford Motor Company Air Plane School in 1943. While serving in the Amy Air Corp with the 355 Airborne Squadron he was promoted to Sergeant. After being honorably discharged in 1945 he became a logger and was self employed. Bud was a Great dad for all of us. He enjoyed family gathering, camping and bowling. After he retired Bud loved to watch game shows. He was preceded in death by his two wives Helen in 1982 and Billie Rue in 2004 and a son, Donald Tinker in 2006 along with nine brothers and sisters. Bud is survived by a son Terry Tinker, step daughter Vicki (David) Gamble and Leslie and Lora Tinker. Also surviving are grandchildren Karena Season, Brian Tinker, Amanda Jefferson, Josh and LL Petrie, Jason tinker, Tracy Flury, Judy Bagshaw, Keith Mitchell, Brandy Clifford, Donald McClough, Amber and Jacob Tinker and Justin , Christopher Brown. In addition he is also survived by great grandchildren Lilly Jefferson, Brittany, Brandon, Beals, Kolten Season and Joslin and Elijiah Petie.
Graveside services will be Monday November 23, 2015 at 10 AM at Roseburg Memorial Gardens. Wilson's Chapel of the Roses are in charge of arrangements.
