Elizabeth Slight (Buckingham) Slight

ELIZABETH BUCKINGHAM "BETSY" SLIGHT was born in Los Angeles, California on September 5, 1951. She graduated from University High School in 1969 and received a Bachelor's Degree from Whittier College in Whittier, California in June of 1973. In 1980 Betsy moved to Roseburg, Oregon along with her husband Daniel. Betsy worked as a Teacher's Aide at JoLane Middle School until the births of her children after which she elected to stay at home and raise her children. Betsy passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017. She will be sorely missed as she brought a smile to the face of all who met her. She is survived by her husband Daniel Slight; daughter Galaxy Slight; son Daniel Slight IV and sister Catherine Buckingham. A Celebration of Life for Betsy will be held Monday, December 18, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Wilson's Chapel of the Roses. Private cremation rites have been held.
