Elmer Lee Patterson

Elmer Lee Patterson, born on December 25, 1927, in Lenna, OK, passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 96, in Roseburg, OR. He served in the Army during WWII. Elmer enjoyed a successful career at Roseburg Sand & Gravel and Douglas. Elmer enjoyed the work he did after retiring, he went back to the County for a few more years during the summer months.

Elmer Lee Patterson, was a beloved son, Veteran, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He is survived by his daughters Carol Evans and Janet Taylor, his son Steve Patterson, daughter-in-law Wendi Patterson, grandchildren Amy and David Valencia, Leah Taylor, Ryan and Teagan Patterson, and Kylee Patterson, as well as great-grandchildren Abigail and Jackson Valencia. Elmer is preceded in death by his parents Rhonda and Vernon Patterson, siblings Oral Patterson, Ina Storvo, Jewell Hunter, Evelyn Richwine and James Patterson, and his loving wife (Smithee) Patterson. Also, his two sons-in-law, Lynn Evans and Jay Taylor.

A military service in honor of Elmer will be held at the VA pavilion at 10am on Friday April 26th.
Elmer Lee Patterson will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
