Eva Walker (Ferrell) Walker

EVA LORENE WALKER 91, of Roseburg, Oregon went home to Jesus on Tuesday, December 31, 2013. She was born in Alluwe, Oklahoma on August 16, 1922 to Jesse and Gertrude Ferrell. Eva married J.T. Walker on October 29, 1940. She worked in the Ammunition Factory in Oklahoma during WW II. The Walker's moved to Oregon in 1946. She worked for many years as a waitress and then worked at Georgia Pacific Mill for several years. Eva is survived by her seven children Jack Walker and his wife JoAnn of Klamath Falls, Oregon, Jim Walker and his wife Vicky of Dallas, Oregon, Doris Bradshaw and her husband Charlie of Springfield, Oregon, Karen Scevers and her husband Nic of Roseburg, Oregon, Eva Jean Burr and her husband John of Portland, Oregon, Nola Davis and her husband Rick of Kalispell, Montana and Tom Walker and his wife Tina of Canby, Oregon; 20 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren; two sisters Dorothy and Norma and a brother Floyd. Eva was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, J.T. Walker. Those who wish may pay their respects on Friday, January 10th from 2-7 pm at Wilson's Chapel of the Roses. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 11:00 am at Wilson's Chapel of the Roses. Pastor Joe Sizemore will officiate. Interment will follow within the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
