Evangelina Sanez Acuna (Sanez)

EVANGELINA SANEZ ACUNA 76, of Sutherlin, Oregon passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at her home. She was born July 27, 1937 in Nacozari, Mexico to Marcolfo and Tulita Sanez. On May 10, 1968 in Villajuarez, Mexico. Evangelina married Guadalupe Acuna. The Acuna's lived in San Jose, California and moved to Sutherlin, Oregon in 1994. Evangelina enjoyed crocheting, loved children especially her children and grandchildren, and cooking. She had an amazing heart and loved everybody and never had a harsh word to say about anybody. Evangelina always had her home open and never turned anyone away. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Sutherlin. Survivors include her husband Guadalupe Acuna of Sutherlin, Oregon; daughters Martina and Alma Acuna both of Roseburg, Oregon; 2 grandchildren Ohana and Isabella; numerous nieces and nephews. Evangelina was preceded in death by her 2 sisters and 4 brothers. Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 1:30 pm at the Church of Christ 360 Robinson Street, Sutherlin.
