Florence B. Hahn

June 17, 1916 — November 11, 2011

Florence Beulah Hahn was born on June 17, 1916 in Mt. Vernon, Illinois and died on November 11, 2011 at the age of 95. She was preceded in death by her father Charles Legge, mother Eunice Dare Legge, brother Howard and husband Charles Jesse Hahn, whom she married on December 19, 1936. She led a full life and was volunteering at the Red Cross, going to an exercise class and participating in many activities at her beloved Vine Street Baptist Church and visited shut in adults with the homebound ministry just a couple of weeks before her death. During World War II she and Charlie were employed at the shipyards in Vancouver, WA. where she was a tool checker. They moved to Roseburg in 1948. She worked at Newberry's in the 60's, Burness-Hahn Oldsmobile, and later at Hahn's Rainbow Trailer Sales in Winchester. She is survived by her sons Darrell and Rick of Winchester and their wives Raina and Anne; grandchildren Brad (Janel) Hahn, Jolie (Rich) Middleton, Melissa (JR) Cano and Mark Hahn. Great Grandchildren Ethan Cano, Rachel Smart and Jason Smart and Great Great grandchildren Arianna, Aidyn, and Kyla Smart and Ella Holmes-Smart. She will greatly missed by her family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday November 16 at 11A.M. at the Vine Street Baptist Church. Interment will follow within the grounds of Roseburg Memorial Gardens.
