Frances L. Parnell (Pike)

Frances L. (Pike) Parnell, age 87 of Roseburg, Oregon passed away on Friday, March 4, 2016. She was born on March 26, 1928 in Paisley, Oregon to Charles and Pauline Pike.
Frances married Chester Parnell in 1953 and they resided in Sutherlin, Oregon. She loved to play card and dice games including Yahtzee. She was a stay at home wife and mother who also enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports.
Frances is survived by her son Duane and his wife Sally Parnell; and sons Glen Parnell and Robert Parnell; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Pauline; her husband Chester; and son Brian Parnell.
There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at 10:00am at Valley View Cemetery in Sutherlin, Oregon. Viewing will be at Sutherlin Chapel of the Roses on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
