Frank Norman Husak 88, of Roseburg, Oregon,
passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017, in a
local care center. He was born September 28, 1928,
in Olean, New York, to Frank and Mabel Ruth (Jones) Husak
Frank proudly served in the United States Air Force (1946 - 1949)
and was a recipient of the Japan Occ Medal--WW II Victory Medal
for his service in Okinawa and Manila, P.I., as an airplane and
engine mechanic.
Following his discharge in 1949, Frank moved to Roseburg, Oregon, where he
has lived since that time. On March 7, 1951, he married Mary Jane (Wilson)
Husak in Roseburg where they raised their four children.
Frank was employed by Umpqua Dairy for over 30 years
until his retirement in 1990. In retirement he enjoyed coin collecting
and going to the gun range to practice target shooting.
Frank was preceded in death by his mother, Mabel in 1979; his father, Frank in 1993;
his wife, Mary Jane in 2007; his son, Kenneth in 2015; and his daughter, Elaine in 1974.
Frank is survived by two sons, Stephen Husak and wife Deon, David Husak and wife Karen;
daughter in law, Virginia (Ginger) Husak; grandchildren, Dallas Husak;
Shandra (Husak) Sullivan and husband Ryan; Leniece Leffall; and great-grandchild, Hamilton Sullivan.
Private interment will be held at Roseburg Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, August 2, 2017.
