Following his service, Frank worked as a mechanic, electrician, inspector, lead mechanic, maintenance supervisor and foreman for Western Airlines and United Airlines.  He then went to work as Principal Maintenance/Avionics Inspector for the Department of Transportation - Federal Aviation Administration.  He worked for the FAA in Los Angeles, San Francisco and at the American Embassy in Singapore and retired in 2012. Frank also served as a Reserve for the U.S. Navy from 1978 to 1984.

In recognition of his contributions to building and maintaining the safest aviation system in the world through practising and promoting safe aircraft maintenance for over 50 consecutive years, Frank was honored with the Charles Taylor Master Mechanic award in September 2012.

In 1967, he married Susan Mattern and they had two children:  Michelle Elise and Scott Christian.  Later, he married Patricia Holden and had one son, Patrick Thomas. After returning from Singapore in 2012, he married the love of his life, Jasmine Chia. Frank and Jasmine moved to Myrtle Creek, Oregon in 2013.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife, Jasmine Siebold, sister, Edith Calkins (Kevin) of Myrtle Creek, OR, and brother, Olaf Myhre (Irene) of Pueblo, Colorado, daughter, Michelle Fourmont (Patrick) of Carlsbad, California, son, Scott Siebold (Megan) of Trinity Alps, California, son, Patrick Siebold of Las Vegas, Nevada and step daughter, Jeanette Choong of Singapore.  Also surviving are grandchildren:  Donovan, Drue, Ivy and Violet Fourmont and Benjamin, Keegan, Talula, Cedar and John Siebold.  He also leaves behind beloved family members Ed Parker and Clancy Sato of Canyonville, Oregon.

His family and friends will miss him dearly.  Known as the “Burger King” of the castle in Myrtle Creek, Frank enjoyed the gathering of family and friends.  He was a great friend to all who have known him over the years and a great mentor to his co-workers.  He valued the lives of each family member and held them close to his heart through daily prayer.  All who knew him would testify to his gentle spirit and zest for life; and that constant sparkle in his eyes that brought warmth to everyone he met.
