GERALD RAY "JERRY" PARKER 77, of Glide, Oregon passed away peacefully at home with family at his side, ending his battle with Alzheimer's. He is survived by Vera, his loving wife of 56 years; four children Connie, Linda, Nancy and Mike and their spouses; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren; 2 brothers Robert and Kenneth; many nieces and nephews. Jerry was a resident of Glide for over 53 years. He was a logger and a lover of the outdoors. Many of his happiest moments were spent hunting, fishing or camping with his friends and family. Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 14, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Wilson's Chapel of the Roses. A reception will follow at the Comfort Inn on Mulholland Drive.
