Gerald "Jerry" Ray Brown 9/2/56-7/21/16
Our faithful husband, father, grandpa, son, brother and friend went to be with Jesus unexpectedly July 21, 2016. Though he will be greatly missed, his struggles on this earth are over and he is in the presence of Jesus praising him with his beautiful voice. Jerry graduated from Clackamas HS in 1974 and proudly served in the Air Force 1977-1978. At the time of his death, Jerry worked with his wife as a Real Estate Broker at CENTURY 21 The Neil Company R.E. He is survived by his wife, Sherri Brown, his Son Caleb Brown and his wife Elizabeth and grandson Barrett Ray, his stepson Jordan Phillips and his love, Leah James, his parents Robert & Lorene Brown, all of his brothers and sisters and their spouses, Ron Brown (Lynn), Dan Brown (Donna), Debbie Lee (Darrel), Cheri Rosier (Steve), Sam Brown (Sherri), Joy Loney (Dan), Ben Brown (Leanne) and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Jerry had many talents and interests including the ability to fix almost anything, building old trucks, singing and listening to gospel music, fishing and camping. He loved his family and lived "Love is patient, love is kind" and "Love never fails." (I Cor. 13:4-8a). Jerry, you will always be in our hearts and we will love you forever! Walk and talk with Jesus until we all meet again. Graveside services, with military honors, will be held Friday, 7/29/16, 2pm at the Roseburg National Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, 7/30/16, 11am at Roseburg Alliance Church.
